Brandberry provides blog-related widgets and theme settings to control how blog content is displayed.
Blog Widgets (Elementor)
When using Elementor, you can display blog posts using dedicated widgets that allow full control over layout and styling. Common widget options include:
- Post layout and columns
- Meta information (author, date, categories)
- Excerpt length
- Read more button
- Pagination and navigation
Blog Widgets & Dynamic Content (Elementor)
When building blog layouts with Elementor, Brandberry supports both post listing widgets and dynamic content widgets.
Post listing widgets are typically used for blog index pages and listings, while dynamic widgets are used when designing single post layouts with the Single Builder.
Dynamic Widgets for Single Post Layouts
Dynamic widgets automatically pull content from the current post. This allows you to design a single post template once and apply it to all blog posts. Common dynamic widgets used in blog single layouts include:
- Post Title
- Post Meta (author, date, categories)
- Featured Image
- Post Content
- Post Excerpt
These widgets are typically used inside Theme Builder → Single templates.
This approach is ideal when all blog posts share the same layout and you want to manage design changes from one central template.
Tip If each post requires a unique layout, you can still edit individual posts directly with Elementor instead of using a single template.
Theme Blog Settings
If you are using the default theme blog layout, you can customize its appearance from:
Brandberry Theme → Theme Settings → Blog
Available options include:
- Sidebar position
- Author, date, category visibility
- Read more text and icons
- Navigation style and alignment
- Excerpt length
These settings apply only to the default theme blog layout and do not affect Elementor-built blog pages.
