Elementor Performance  Theme Options

If Elementor feels slow to load or responds slowly while editing, Brandberry includes a few performance options that can improve the editor experience without affecting your live website.

You can enable or disable these options anytime in:

Brandberry Theme → Theme Settings → Asset Optimize.

Disable GSAP in Elementor Editor

When enabled, Brandberry disables GSAP libraries inside the Elementor editor preview (iframe). This can noticeably improve Elementor loading speed on websites that use heavy animations.

  • Recommended: Keep it enabled if Elementor takes a long time to load.
  • Note: Frontend animations are not affected. Some animation previews inside the editor may not play.

Block Animation Addons Fingerprint (Editor)

Some addons perform remote checks while editing. This option blocks a fingerprint request that may slow down Elementor editor loading on certain hosting environments.

  • Recommended: Enable it for faster editor loading.
  • Note: Frontend visitors are not affected.

Cache Brandberry Template Library (Editor)

If you use Brandberry’s Template Library while editing, this option caches template API responses to reduce repeated requests and speed up the editor experience.

  • Recommended: Enable it if you frequently open the template library panel while editing.
  • Note: This only affects the editor, not the frontend.

After changing any of these settings, we recommend reloading the Elementor editor and clearing any cache plugins to ensure the changes take effect.

Other Performance Options

Elementor offers powerful design flexibility, but following a few best practices can help ensure optimal performance and faster page loading times.

Use Global Styles

Use Elementor’s global fonts, colors, and styles instead of styling each widget individually. This reduces CSS output and keeps your design consistent.

Avoid Excessive Nesting

Deeply nested containers and sections can negatively impact performance. Keep your layout structure as simple as possible.

Limit Animations

Use animations sparingly and only where they add value. Too many animations can increase load time and affect user experience.

Disable Unused Widgets and Extensions

Disable Elementor widgets and Animation Addons extensions that you are not using. This reduces unnecessary scripts and styles being loaded.

Optimize Images

Always use optimized images and modern formats such as WebP where possible. Large images are one of the most common causes of slow pages.

Use Caching and Optimization Plugins

Combine Elementor with a caching and performance plugin to improve server response time and front-end performance.

Following these best practices will help you maintain a smooth editing experience and deliver fast-loading pages to your visitors.
