Install WooCommerce
Brandberry is fully compatible with WooCommerce and includes built-in styling and layout options designed for online stores.
Step 1: Install the WooCommerce plugin
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New
- Search for WooCommerce
- Click Install Now, then Activate
After activation, WooCommerce will open a setup wizard where you can configure store basics like location, currency, payments, and shipping. You can always update these settings later from WooCommerce → Settings.
Step 2: Verify WooCommerce pages
WooCommerce automatically creates the essential pages needed for your store:
- Shop
- Cart
- Checkout
- My Account
To confirm they are assigned correctly, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced.
Import Shop Demo (Dummy Content)
Brandberry includes ready-made WooCommerce demo content to help you quickly set up a shop that looks like the live demos. Importing the shop demo will automatically create sample products, categories, pages, and layouts.
Before You Import
- Make sure WooCommerce is installed and activated
- Do not import demo content on a live production site unless you know what you are doing
- We recommend importing demos on a fresh WordPress installation
Importing the Shop Demo
- Go to Brandberry Theme → Demo Import
- Select a demo that includes a shop layout
- Choose Full Website Import or Shop-related pages (if available)
- Click Import and wait for the process to finish
The importer will automatically set up:
- Sample products
- Product categories and tags
- Shop, Cart, Checkout, and My Account pages
- Theme and WooCommerce settings used in the demo
After Import
Once the import is complete, review your store settings:
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings and configure payments, shipping, and taxes
- Replace demo products with your own real products
- Remove any demo content you don’t need
Tip Demo products are meant for layout and styling reference only. Always replace them with your own product data before launching your store.
